False. Plants release water vapor into the air through a process called transpiration, not sublimation. Transpiration is the movement of water from the roots of a plant, through the plant, and into the atmosphere. Sublimation, on the other hand, is the direct transition of a substance from a solid to a gas without passing through the liquid phase. It is not a common process for water release in plants.
